I came by Cherie through divine intervention. Her name was mentioned in passing and resonation was felt deep in my bones. A year or so passed and when the time came that I needed to contact an editor, I was able to remember and seek out Cherie. As soon as we spoke, it was a done deal. She was the editor for me. We were on the same wavelength. You could FEEL it. I was a first time author and Cherie just made it so clear and easy. I had not a clue what I was up to really. After my success in Germany with “The Colour of the Sari,” I wanted to publish my India novel in English. My English is very good, but I needed help to get my translation up to the level for publication. The difficulty about translating books is that the story can lose its character. Cherie helped me take my manuscript to a whole new level. The words create the right atmosphere, the sentences flow, and the story is exactly as I have published it in German. Working with Cherie was so easy and professional. We exchanged ideas and worked together to put the scenes in the right setting. Without her, the result would never have been so outstanding.
